Binary Options Brokers Accepting Paypal
Binary Options Brokers Accepting Paypal
April 9, 2013Paypal is definitely one of the preferred payment methods used by binary options traders around the world for a variety of reasons. However, for reasons having to do with regulation Paypal has made an executive decision not to process deposits from traders that have a real money account with a CySec regulated broker. There is one exception to the rule. Goptions has recently begun to accept Paypal deposits. However, when you register you must chat to the support rep as this options is not available directly through the cashier.
At the time there was a lot of talk about Empire Option, and apparently for a brief period Paypal was made available for traders, but that didn’t last for long and regardless I do not recommend them. If any CySec broker out there tells you Paypal is accepted, make sure to document that in writing because the support rep is either incompetent or trying to get you to deposit at any cost – what ever the case is – be warned!
There is however a different way to use Paypal for these purposes, you can transfer money from your Paypal account to your checking or corporate account and then proceed to make a bank transfer. In this case the transaction is more timely and less anonymous, but at least you are using funds from your E-wallet account and not your bank account funds. This is a good way to exercise budget control.
You can also use Paypal to purchase an online prepaid credit card and then use that for funding purposes. This would seem like the best solution all around.
To sum up, there are no binary options brokers out there accepting Paypal deposits (I have not asked about withdrawals though), However, you can use the money from your Ewallet to buy a prepaid credit card (best to have a Visa, Amex, or Mastercard logo on it) online or alternatively transfer funds to your personal account and then proceed to make a bank transfer. Alternatively you can simply take some cash and physically buy a prepaid gift card, just make sure to inquire with your broker before you do that.
Update: July 21st 2013: Optimarkets is no longer accepting direct payment through Paypal accounts, however if you use the Paypal Prepaid Mastercard it will be accepted.
How Does it Work? Simply sign up for the service through your Paypal account and the following business day you will have a card along with for you with an activation code waiting for you! All traders using the Prepaid Card are automatically qualified to receive an extra bonus of up to 20% –(Ask if you qualify for any bonus codes) on their initial investment.
